Pies and Pastry

Finally, we got around to making a pie.  And what a joy it was!  Add steak and kidney, onions, flour, beef stock and puff pastry together, whack in the oven for 2 hours and out comes a delicious pie.

  1. I was surprised how easy it was…next time a bit more stock to keep the pie from drying out too much. You can’t go wrong with Mrs Beaton’s cooking instructions!
